Simple pleasures of sweet luxury.

When I was kid, certain things meant a lot to me.  We were poor.  But rich in spirit.  My parents were artist and lived in the East Village of New York. Had my mom stayed in Brooklyn with her family she would have had the lifestyle any Jewish American Princess could want.  She decided to live in Alphabet City with my father. She loved the struggling artist, organic, flower child lifestyle they had. They didn’t marry until I was about 6.  We were nothing traditional.

It was interesting, my dad was very handsome.  Even my teachers would ask if he was single, and he was with mom who he adored.  He would give her anything he could.  They were from to different worlds but had so much passion they taught each other their languages so they could communicate.  They told me to express my love in the now not in the later.

Growing up, later in life, I decided that I will work hard, raise the bar and never look bad to anything sad, only the positive highlights so that I could move forward.  Remember the struggle but recall the strength of endurance that was needed to reach the goal.

When my husband and I started out we didn’t have two nickles to rub together but we kept strong.

Recently, I had to give up some of my luxurious lifestyle normality to make way for my new commute and day care costs in our new community.

The other day one of my colleagues gave me a Starbucks gift card.  Oh my God I got so excited, like it was gold.

I took my laissez faire lifestyle for granted…. no.  I am just really appreciative of all I have now.  Sometimes you need to sacrifice to make way for change and then reward will come.

Sweet blessing today and to all, enjoy your #fannytasticlife day while I enjoy my latte♡

Truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth! I affirm.

Have you ever met somebody that everything out of their mouth was lie.  Most sinister, in my opinion because I believe in telling the truth no matter the consequence.  I actually feel some things I say may hurt but my reality must be real.

I can understand of categorizing social group into: friends, family, colleagues, school chums etc and giving them samples of truths but not completely sharing every last ounce of yourself.

Often times I am an open book kind of gal, ask and she will tell you.  However, I share a story with one I may not share with another and that is when my social groups change.   I am a very public person.  You can google my whole life, but I still have my private moments that I keep sacred.  I do have this blog and facebook that are rather public. However other social media platforms it is by invitation only.

It means something to me when some one can look me in the eye when talking to them.  I know I am very intimidating, my whole persona, and trust me when I say I will look deep into your eyes during conversation.  I am showing you that I care and more importantly pushing you to be honest.

As a child, I told wild amazing stories to my mom and grandparents, they would say to me Fanny tell us one of your crazy stories, and I would so proud.  One day my Uncle shot this way of happiness down with his “that is impossible and unrealistic speech”  so I decided, that day I would continue to tell my stories as a creative output, like my comedy and baby story telling, but other than that I would report on the soul.  Relatable topics and just be honest on every turn.  Unless I was entertaining, and being commissioned to do so.

Someone recently very close to me, that I let in t my inner circle (credit to the Fockers) broke my circle of trust.  However, I won’t scold them or let them go, not just yet.  This person does mean a lot to me.  I will let time heal this.

Remember lying is a mortal sin, one that won’t let you enter into those pearly gates, so do what you want with you life but here while being a #Fannytasticlife you get the real truth and nothing but the truth, you heard it first!

Emotions running high…

The day you do everything “right”…

You woke up early, got your babies right. Fed your dogs, got a Lyft to the Rail,

You are on fire, on time.

Shocking you have enough money and time for a Latte’.

Land at work, getting everything on the agenda.

But that one chick, who secretly hates her life and is miserable.  She seems to have everything but she is rotten inside, decides today is the day, she will throw you under the bus.

In slow motion you watch her verbally assault you, to you boss, the one who has validated you for no good reason the one who loves you unconditionally, she smears your goodwill your Probono to your boss.

And, you don’t shield, you don’t defend your self.  You allow it.

Then you walk away, and cry hard.

While she walks away feeling triumphant another victim to add to her pile.

But this time, God’s light shines on you, you talk to your boss.  What she says, shocks you.

She doesn’t believe that creature.  She only believes in you this is her gift, her love.

Now, you know that battle was lost but the war, the war is ours to have.

God blessed and prayed for.  This evil eye, jumps in all those who call for it, I don’t ever turn to evil.  I have been called many names malificent, dragon, pittbull, I don’t deny my strength.

But, if you don’t know me, you can call me #DianaPrince or #Wonderwoman because I will maintain my #fannytasticlife …

Never saw a resolution I liked…

Wow, what a year; 2016 was probably one of the hardest for my family.  To catch you up ans keep you current.

We moved in to our new home…

the holidays happened …

The hubby’s office party…

The gingerbread house and Christmas tree…

My office holiday potluck…followed by the my office holiday party.

and now are in the new year…2017!

Today, everyone will ask “What are your resolutions for 2017?”

I have a problem with resolutions because people aren’t always realistic and honest about the state they are in presently. So, the resolution because impossible.

I always set goals through out the year, in addition, I adhere to my budget and stick to my plans.  I’m also a time keeper; time is the most precious non tangible item you possess so it is wiser the manage the time you have.  For example, I am always on time.  I’m usually the reliable one. Or the gal to count on.  Because of my time management.  However recently, in my move to my home, I now get to work 10 min off.  The train route between work and my new home is longer and the lapse between trains, I can’t make.  So I need to make decisions on how I will adjust this.  Not blaming anyone but adjusting my life to accomadate the schedule. While some may say, “My resolution is to always be on time.”  Automatic fail, first determine what the actual problem is then work on a resolution.

So with that said, my resolution for 2017 is to have a #fannytasticlife!

Home before the holiday.

What a journey.  We finally closed and now are moving into our home.  So, humbled, blessed and joyful!

We found out that lawyer was not only lying to us, but mishandling our money and it wad just a mess.

We had to switch lawyers in the last moment, and he saved both of our deals.

Our home is lovely, spacious and full of life and happiness.

I’m so grateful to every one who sponsored us on our GoFundMe page. This helped us in the final stages although we still have a fight ahead of us; that is with Jersey City.  They took our complete profit of $83,333.33 and we were left with about $147.00 sad but true.

We will be alright, we have an upcoming hearing with the city next week.

If any one asked me about buying a house and selling a house I would tell them the following:

  1. Get your mortgage approval first, Not  through a realator but through a bank you do business with;
  2. Find a lawyer, from someone you trust.  A solid referral;
  3. Ask the lawyer: What services do you provide and for a basic timeline of what to expect;
  4. Find a realator, from someone you also know.  A solid referral;
  5. Ask the realator: What services do you provide and a basic timeliness of what to expect;
  6. Before you do business with them teachers your mortgage representative who they are and ask if they ever heard of them, check the BBB and verify their licenses; and,
  7. Make sure you do all your homework, in the end you are paying for this so get your money’s worth.

I have other tips I will share, till then remember to stay #fannytasticlife with all your dealings.

A new home and now a fight for what’s right.

We have been put through the ringer. Most of you know what I am about and the past six months we have been doing everything any anything to comply with everything that is needed to close our old and new home.

We are now in the thick of it.  And currently fighting with Jersey City trying to fix a contract issue.  Our contract states we owe nothing and NJHMFA has agreed with us and discharge the lien. However, Jersey City says they “interpret” it differently and feel they are owed $83000.  We are middle class union workers and are a family of five.  They are going to leave is with nothing.

We are ready currently creating a petition to fight this and not for just us but neighbors who are in the same predicament.

We have created a GoFundMe page to help my family when we move into our new home.  We are currently homeless because our buyer moved into our property with out our authorization and is currently squatting in there.  It went from rough to worse.  Today is our last day in the hotel and then we will try to stay with family.

If you can helps us please check out link below, if you only send prayers we will gladly accept.  Thank know you to all my #fannytasticlife followers and fans.  Love you all!

A world with out dreams…

We have all just witnessed the unbelievable ordeal of the election results. What at first we thought was just a joke became a reality filled with broken dreams, no hope, covered in hate.

In the days that followed, we see acts of hate all over our nation.  I always knew racism existed, I never knew to what extent; blatant and crude.  Americans should be ashamed of their behavior, this is the country where everyone’s ancestor came to seek refuge and salvation.  What is happening now is nothing less than a travesty of our nation.
As a nation, we have been through so much: Slavery, Chinese  Exclusionary Act, Japanese Concentration Camps, Barbaric Exploitation of Puerto Rico, etc; when do we turn around and learn from our mistakes and make them right?

This nation will fall unless we rise as a people who do not hate but love and start to make things better.

No matter how much of a #fannytasticlife yout have, it is time to get serious!

Masks, we all wear them for work, school, family and life.  We sometimes are the smiling sociopathic clown that is really depressed or the sad emo who is truly happy but attention thirsty.

I always smile as big as I can, I am not a sociopath.  I am a woman with a high tolerance of pain and a short fuse.  I can’t help that I am cconfrontational.  the truth is we are all earthlings, for the most part; ha. This is why I believe everyone is on the same level, which is the crust of earth under God and his majesty.

My mask is designed to protect the owner of it.  It draws you in, this trusting wicked smile, and egnima of perlexity of orgin confused, you.  Naturally you are curious and then become overwhelmed and compelled to talk to me.  My response is sharp not sweet.

The shock is so confusing you are simply confuzzies and don’t have the elevated wit to rebuttal but instead of being offended you enjoy the banter; you are welcome.

My natural habitat has me like a porcupine and each quill is laced with an intoxicating and addicting endorphin.

Now, for those who are offended, I instantly now that you are truly self-conscious and bitter, heavy chipped at the shoulder with an exterior so hard yet sensitive that you are on the defensive.  Your mask is possibly vain.

I find humor to be the connection to all masked.  The cure is laughter and the nourishment is love, don’t take me so serious while enjoying my #fannytasticlife 8♡25♡365

Scream and shout and let it out …

On train, dancing to music.  That’s me.  you are not even on with me.  I am alone, as crowded as it is.  My beat has me letting it all out.

Super freak dropping it, because it is hot, right? Oh snap.  This is my poll… wickedly laughing, evil glaze over eyes. You heard me I am alone on this train, so move it or move.

Stress can’t take over my mind when my ear buds are screaming in my ear.  Pray about, I am over here praising about it.  Having a #Fannytasticlife of a morning, so chill!
