Own your swagger.

I often hear people play a victim role in certain scenarios.   I  have grown less tolerant of this behavior because no one can own you emotions, if you own your swagger.

Here are my philosophies and anyone who has ever met me will know this to be true.

  1. Don’t be afraid to embrace who you are: stay true to yourself; no matter what.
  2. Nip it in the bud: if you dont like it, say something; otherwise the behavior or action will continue.
  3. Tell the truth, even if it hurts: put it this way, I would prefer honesty than hearing lies from people who are trying to make feel good.  Sugar coating often implodes later.
  4. I have a huge ego; I stroked it.  Stop looking for validation.  A quick thanks and firm handshake will do; don’t be needy.
  5. Create open communication style: as soon as the door opens stick your foot in it and mirror the behavior given to you.  I belive confidence will set you free.
  6. Love yourself: bathe, comb, dress up, and give yourself the compliment you seek.
  7. Vent only to god: no one wants to hear it… some will be polite and listen but being forced to hear you… for what self gratification.
  8. Listen more. And take notes.
  9. Put your phone away. DAMNIT!
  10. Remember not to sweat it.  By the way, I don’t sweat I glisten.
  11. Enjoy life don’t forget to stay amazing in your  #Fannytasticlife

    Getting my wings back

The other day I drove.  It has been five years since I last drove.  I felt I lost my confidence and was so anxious.  But while driving I felt great.

Reminisced about when I was 13 or 14 and my grandfather took me on an old country road where he let me drive to the dump near by.  He didn’t say anything,  just calmly sat by me.  Or when he let me drive so we can go clamming.  He trusted me and more importantly, I trusted him.

I felt alive.  My seizures can not keep me shackled anymore.  I am growing with every moment that passes.  Another item checked off my bucket list.

    Free to live a #Fannytasticlife.

    Retirement at 37.

I recently left my job, I am considering that I retired.  You may call it what you like.  The send off I recieved from my work family was amazing.

From the decorations, to the food, and all the planning, I was treated like a goddess!  My colleagues and their beautiful faces, so sweet.

I was employed for almost twelve years in the Labor Union industry and although I have held many experiences, this one was different.

Truly Special.  I now am off to a new experience of sorts but most importantly I will be closer to my children.

Cheers, to love, life and happiness!

    Chapter 37

    A new beginning, a restart, a reset.

My children are the most important factor in my life.  And my most precious gift, I give to them, is my time.

    Im scared, nervous, but satsified.

I will miss my family that I have known for twelve years and wish them well.

    A new journey awaits.

    Blessings to all.

4:30 am, crack of morn.  Babies, “mommy we want to be with you, we want to wake up to be with you before you go” – testimony.

    Heart status: Bitter-Sweet

Today, in my #Fannytasticlife im lifted, happy, loving life, my family, and will be giving out tight hugs to my co-workers.

    Peace.

    Feeling yourself

I woke up, and new lotion was needed for this body.

Happy, finally it has been a minute… stress was released this week and I am able to feel good.

My babies dancing in my bedroom, laughing, hugging mommy.

I said I need my fringe, I need some gloss, pink leather, jeans, bling, shinny hair.

As a women especially a mother sometines we loose ourselves in the routine.

Hubby, came home.  Peeped his sweet deliciousness. Love him he is a damn good man and wonderful:Father, Husband, pick a title he is amazing at it.

I washed all the dishes, tidy up the casa.

    Wanted my King to breath.

Babies lined up and gave me sweet kisses as I left to go to work, filled my heart.

Im just thankful, the sun is shinning bright on me, I love the light.

    Glory to God!

    Feeling myself!

    Have a blessed #fannytasticlife

    Light as a feather.

Last night we were victorious.   We conquered the burden of legalities.

We went to City Hall, and within seconds, unanimously our resolution was passed!

God is good and thank you all for your continous help, and prayers.

    Resolutions, do you have any?

I am sitting at the edge of my chair.  I have bitten off all my nails.  I have dragged my children to the Jersey City town hall meeting every month.  AND, we will continue to do so until we have our resolution for the money owed to us by the City of Jersey City.  Quite frankly, its bout’ time!!!

Please call Jersey City  (201) 547-5053 and list your name if you care to speak on my families behalf or show support.  You can also mention, showing support for the Chico Family. We need all the support we can get.  My family situation will set the precedence for all the other families at 1209 Summit Avenue.

Basically,  to give insight.  We have a contract and it states that:”… after 5 years if we sell to a buyer who will occupy as the primary residence, than we shall receive our money owed…”, and we did, all of this.

Our othet contract with the state was discharged, NJHMFA, said “…we were good to go…” but Jersey City told me “we have interpreted this contract differently”  this is absurd.

I wont back down, if it takes all of me. Honestly,  this has made me such a nervous wreck it has changed my whole self, and all I can do is look at my children and pick up my pen, type on my computer, speak infront of city council, the Mayors attorney and legal department, and aide and any one who will lend me their ear to listen.

I need support!  My family needs support! The people of my community needs support!

The next date will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 6pm to 8pm.

    City Council Meetings

These folks are the kindest of heart and everytime I go they listen to me and I express that we dont have the resolution yet, we are stick in a legal process. The council members I give all my respect to, because they have been trying to assist me with this process.

I maintain my positive energy manifesting through prayer that I will maintain my #fannytasticlife

    Thank you Council members:

I am a lover of the constitution.

Why would you take office if you have no belief in the constitution.   That is the foundation and safe guard of this country.  Let’s go back, why did the Pilgrims come to this land.  They sought refuge of religious persecution.

It is written from the fathers of this country.  President Trump you are going backwards.  You are taking your own daughters rights away.  You are hurting you future grandchildren. You actions are not president worthy they are one of a dictator.  You truly have enough money to buy your own Island and be emperor of it.

    #LeaveOurCountryAlone

I’m angered beyond the point of resuscitation by the disrespect you throw to the people of this nation.

You have lied all the way and continue to lie, not informed, not educated, shameful.

Your ego and pride are bigger than this country, bigger than this world.  If only space aliens from another world could just explain to you that you are not the center of the universe.

President Trump, please take a look at yourself, power hungry and hatred is what fills you to the absolute top.

I am a lover of the constitution,  I studied it even before college and I know the value of the words more than the artifacts that it presents itself as.

Please learn, educate and humble yourself.

Patience I hope to find today and activism won’t yield from my soul while I maintain my #fannytasticlife and continue to fight.

    Who am I?

I was looking at myself.  I don’t know who I am.

I have changed physically so many times.  My beauty has aged, my body has sagged. I am wanting to sleep earlier and wake earlier.

Although, these changes are occurring, I’m still me inside.

    Tired, exhausted and happy.

Stay true to yourself as I stay true to myself in this #fannytasticlife
