Light as a feather.

Last night we were victorious.   We conquered the burden of legalities.

We went to City Hall, and within seconds, unanimously our resolution was passed!

God is good and thank you all for your continous help, and prayers.

Resolutions, do you have any?

I am sitting at the edge of my chair.  I have bitten off all my nails.  I have dragged my children to the Jersey City town hall meeting every month.  AND, we will continue to do so until we have our resolution for the money owed to us by the City of Jersey City.  Quite frankly, its bout’ time!!!

Please call Jersey City  (201) 547-5053 and list your name if you care to speak on my families behalf or show support.  You can also mention, showing support for the Chico Family. We need all the support we can get.  My family situation will set the precedence for all the other families at 1209 Summit Avenue.

Basically,  to give insight.  We have a contract and it states that:”… after 5 years if we sell to a buyer who will occupy as the primary residence, than we shall receive our money owed…”, and we did, all of this.

Our othet contract with the state was discharged, NJHMFA, said “…we were good to go…” but Jersey City told me “we have interpreted this contract differently”  this is absurd.

I wont back down, if it takes all of me. Honestly,  this has made me such a nervous wreck it has changed my whole self, and all I can do is look at my children and pick up my pen, type on my computer, speak infront of city council, the Mayors attorney and legal department, and aide and any one who will lend me their ear to listen.

I need support!  My family needs support! The people of my community needs support!

The next date will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 6pm to 8pm.

I am a lover of the constitution.

Why would you take office if you have no belief in the constitution.   That is the foundation and safe guard of this country.  Let’s go back, why did the Pilgrims come to this land.  They sought refuge of religious persecution.

It is written from the fathers of this country.  President Trump you are going backwards.  You are taking your own daughters rights away.  You are hurting you future grandchildren. You actions are not president worthy they are one of a dictator.  You truly have enough money to buy your own Island and be emperor of it.

#LeaveOurCountryAlone

I’m angered beyond the point of resuscitation by the disrespect you throw to the people of this nation.

You have lied all the way and continue to lie, not informed, not educated, shameful.

Your ego and pride are bigger than this country, bigger than this world.  If only space aliens from another world could just explain to you that you are not the center of the universe.

President Trump, please take a look at yourself, power hungry and hatred is what fills you to the absolute top.

I am a lover of the constitution,  I studied it even before college and I know the value of the words more than the artifacts that it presents itself as.

Please learn, educate and humble yourself.

Patience I hope to find today and activism won’t yield from my soul while I maintain my #fannytasticlife and continue to fight.

Who am I?

I was looking at myself.  I don’t know who I am.

I have changed physically so many times.  My beauty has aged, my body has sagged. I am wanting to sleep earlier and wake earlier.

Although, these changes are occurring, I’m still me inside.

Tired, exhausted and happy.

Stay true to yourself as I stay true to myself in this #fannytasticlife

Simple pleasures of sweet luxury.

When I was kid, certain things meant a lot to me.  We were poor.  But rich in spirit.  My parents were artist and lived in the East Village of New York. Had my mom stayed in Brooklyn with her family she would have had the lifestyle any Jewish American Princess could want.  She decided to live in Alphabet City with my father. She loved the struggling artist, organic, flower child lifestyle they had. They didn’t marry until I was about 6.  We were nothing traditional.

It was interesting, my dad was very handsome.  Even my teachers would ask if he was single, and he was with mom who he adored.  He would give her anything he could.  They were from to different worlds but had so much passion they taught each other their languages so they could communicate.  They told me to express my love in the now not in the later.

Growing up, later in life, I decided that I will work hard, raise the bar and never look bad to anything sad, only the positive highlights so that I could move forward.  Remember the struggle but recall the strength of endurance that was needed to reach the goal.

When my husband and I started out we didn’t have two nickles to rub together but we kept strong.

Recently, I had to give up some of my luxurious lifestyle normality to make way for my new commute and day care costs in our new community.

The other day one of my colleagues gave me a Starbucks gift card.  Oh my God I got so excited, like it was gold.

I took my laissez faire lifestyle for granted…. no.  I am just really appreciative of all I have now.  Sometimes you need to sacrifice to make way for change and then reward will come.

Sweet blessing today and to all, enjoy your #fannytasticlife day while I enjoy my latte♡

Emotions running high…

The day you do everything “right”…

You woke up early, got your babies right. Fed your dogs, got a Lyft to the Rail,

You are on fire, on time.

Shocking you have enough money and time for a Latte’.

Land at work, getting everything on the agenda.

But that one chick, who secretly hates her life and is miserable.  She seems to have everything but she is rotten inside, decides today is the day, she will throw you under the bus.

In slow motion you watch her verbally assault you, to you boss, the one who has validated you for no good reason the one who loves you unconditionally, she smears your goodwill your Probono to your boss.

And, you don’t shield, you don’t defend your self.  You allow it.

Then you walk away, and cry hard.

While she walks away feeling triumphant another victim to add to her pile.

But this time, God’s light shines on you, you talk to your boss.  What she says, shocks you.

She doesn’t believe that creature.  She only believes in you this is her gift, her love.

Now, you know that battle was lost but the war, the war is ours to have.

God blessed and prayed for.  This evil eye, jumps in all those who call for it, I don’t ever turn to evil.  I have been called many names malificent, dragon, pittbull, I don’t deny my strength.

But, if you don’t know me, you can call me #DianaPrince or #Wonderwoman because I will maintain my #fannytasticlife …

Never saw a resolution I liked…

Wow, what a year; 2016 was probably one of the hardest for my family.  To catch you up ans keep you current.

We moved in to our new home…

the holidays happened …

The hubby’s office party…

The gingerbread house and Christmas tree…

My office holiday potluck…followed by the my office holiday party.

and now are in the new year…2017!

Today, everyone will ask “What are your resolutions for 2017?”

I have a problem with resolutions because people aren’t always realistic and honest about the state they are in presently. So, the resolution because impossible.

I always set goals through out the year, in addition, I adhere to my budget and stick to my plans.  I’m also a time keeper; time is the most precious non tangible item you possess so it is wiser the manage the time you have.  For example, I am always on time.  I’m usually the reliable one. Or the gal to count on.  Because of my time management.  However recently, in my move to my home, I now get to work 10 min off.  The train route between work and my new home is longer and the lapse between trains, I can’t make.  So I need to make decisions on how I will adjust this.  Not blaming anyone but adjusting my life to accomadate the schedule. While some may say, “My resolution is to always be on time.”  Automatic fail, first determine what the actual problem is then work on a resolution.

So with that said, my resolution for 2017 is to have a #fannytasticlife!

Home before the holiday.

What a journey.  We finally closed and now are moving into our home.  So, humbled, blessed and joyful!

We found out that lawyer was not only lying to us, but mishandling our money and it wad just a mess.

We had to switch lawyers in the last moment, and he saved both of our deals.

Our home is lovely, spacious and full of life and happiness.

I’m so grateful to every one who sponsored us on our GoFundMe page. This helped us in the final stages although we still have a fight ahead of us; that is with Jersey City.  They took our complete profit of $83,333.33 and we were left with about $147.00 sad but true.

We will be alright, we have an upcoming hearing with the city next week.

If any one asked me about buying a house and selling a house I would tell them the following:

  1. Get your mortgage approval first, Not  through a realator but through a bank you do business with;
  2. Find a lawyer, from someone you trust.  A solid referral;
  3. Ask the lawyer: What services do you provide and for a basic timeline of what to expect;
  4. Find a realator, from someone you also know.  A solid referral;
  5. Ask the realator: What services do you provide and a basic timeliness of what to expect;
  6. Before you do business with them teachers your mortgage representative who they are and ask if they ever heard of them, check the BBB and verify their licenses; and,
  7. Make sure you do all your homework, in the end you are paying for this so get your money’s worth.

I have other tips I will share, till then remember to stay #fannytasticlife with all your dealings.

A new home and now a fight for what’s right.

We have been put through the ringer. Most of you know what I am about and the past six months we have been doing everything any anything to comply with everything that is needed to close our old and new home.

We are now in the thick of it.  And currently fighting with Jersey City trying to fix a contract issue.  Our contract states we owe nothing and NJHMFA has agreed with us and discharge the lien. However, Jersey City says they “interpret” it differently and feel they are owed $83000.  We are middle class union workers and are a family of five.  They are going to leave is with nothing.

We are ready currently creating a petition to fight this and not for just us but neighbors who are in the same predicament.

We have created a GoFundMe page to help my family when we move into our new home.  We are currently homeless because our buyer moved into our property with out our authorization and is currently squatting in there.  It went from rough to worse.  Today is our last day in the hotel and then we will try to stay with family.

If you can helps us please check out link below, if you only send prayers we will gladly accept.  Thank know you to all my #fannytasticlife followers and fans.  Love you all!
